My wife's birthday and she wanted to go somewhere we hadn't been to before. We started our journey online and found we could make reservations, but for a minimum of four people. We only had three so we called and were told that reservations weren't necessary during the week. The trip went well only 19 minutes from home straight into an awesome beach atmosphere. Not much of a view; just sand dunes but only about 50m through the dues to the beach. Parking was pretty full due to a gorgeous beach day. Access from the parking is easy, straight into ground level facility in the multi-storey Secret Harbour Lifesaving building. Seating is both inside and out. Outside is covered but with limited protection if the wind comes up. Menu is extraordinary with Asian/beach pub fusion fair. We had Beef Pho noodles, Horizontal Cabanera Ramen, Grandma's Fried Rice, Duck Fat Chips, Bali juice, Flu Fighter ice tea and Little Creatures Ginger Beer. Prices were what we expected for the location premium. Food quality was outstanding. Food portions are generous. Orders are at the counter, but service to the table was quick, efficient, and pleasant. We left very satisfied and already planning to go back. We can't wait. There is a sister location in Coogee if Secret Harbour is a little too far.

First thing I want to say : you get a huge coffee for $7 !!!!!!! Have a look at the picture ...it's literally huge !... it's in a good location ...right near the beach....and yes it is a very weird ordering system BUT it is very good ...the bacon is devine...and the servings are massive...go on give it a go...( you might need to clean your own table ) ...just remember the food is magic .

I went for lunch & sat outside with open view of green grass & sand dunes. Great for walking afterwards. Good service & efficient. It’s self service by keypad however I asked for assistance. Thought the soup I had was expensive but I wanted to try it . was as described but not in my budget.

We visited Surfing Lizard with my wife and son and had a great experience. We tried the pork belly fried rice with crispy bacon, chicken ramen, the Super Food smoothie, and the Berry Mango smoothie everything was delicious and well prepared. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was quick and friendly. This place does get very busy on weekends during peak hours, but we went around 1:45 pm and stayed until 3 pm, which worked out perfectly. You can really see the creative thinking behind the business the setup feels efficient, fun, and well managed. Highly recommended for great food and a family-friendly vibe.

Absolutely devastated they've stopped doing the Pork Belly Super Food Salad it was the tastiest salad ever! Food is fairly expensive but understandable considering they're located quite literally on the beach. Always a lovely atmosphere there.

We dined here on Anzac Day with family who were visiting. Very helpful staff, loved the way we ordered the food as am a bit scared of technology, plenty of kiosks to do orders. Self serve water station was great! Plenty of high chairs for babies and toddlers. The food was amazing, very generous serves, tasty and well presented. Keep up the great work team at Surfing Lizard
